Linked in the image above is an official financial report from Sony. Dry reading, to be sure, but might I draw your attention to a few pertinent items?

For one, R&D (Research for the development of new hardware, consoles included) spending hasn’t elevated at all for the past three years? This all but acknowledges the fact that there isn’t even a PS4 Dev Kit yet!

You’d think the mainstream video game media would be on this. This is… essentially confirmation - from the company itself - that there will be no Playstation 4. At least in the immediate future.
